WHM's Transfer Tool enables you to migrate cPanel accounts from another server with ease. It's commonly used when moving to a new hosting provider or upgrading infrastructure.
Steps to Use the Transfer Tool
1. Log into WHM on the destination server
2. Navigate to Transfers → Transfer Tool
3. Enter the source server's IP address, root login method (SSH or password), and authentication
4. WHM will list available accounts
5. Select the accounts to transfer, review settings, and begin migration
Notes
- Accounts retain passwords, mailboxes, databases, and website files
- Ensure firewalls allow SSH traffic on port 22 between servers
- DNS may need to be updated if nameservers are changing
